Runners, meet your native energy source—fat

"This is exactly what these crazy racers need to be fueling with," I said to Ross Taylor, co-founder of FBOMB fat fuel at Ragnar Village. Macadamia is one of the few nuts with healthy medium-chain fatty acids and a higher saturated fat content—around 85% of the total. Healthy-sourced animal fats such as lard and tallow are also great sources of saturated fats. It's true that low-carbohydrate, high-fat diets have been used by endurance athletes to enhance performance, and by non-athletes worldwide to improve health and streamline proper hormonal functions.

You better believe I get good use out of these portable nut butters.
